Dorian Karter

Dorian Karter

Modern-Day Ninja

Dorian has always been an autodidact. He taught himself how to program at the early age of 12, and later how to design graphic interfaces. Since then, he has accumulated experience (as well as formal education) and fine-tuned the art of finding balance between intuitive user experience and elegantly-crafted applications. Dorian has experience developing across all aspects of the application lifecycle, including prototyping, front-end, back-end, and dev-ops. He is passionate about productivity and being at the forefront of his stack and toolset.

When he's not learning or building something new, Dorian enjoys spending time with his wife Cara and his dog Sagan, reading nonfiction, or playing drums and guitar. He is also a Mixed Martial Arts practitioner specializing in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai and Krav Maga.

Technology Interests: Elm, Elixir, React, Redux, Ruby, Concurrency, and Functional Programming.
