Travis journeyed to the Atlantic coastline from the Ozark Mountains of Arkansas. He spent nearly a decade building apps for government contracts and research at the University of Arkansas, using Ruby, SAS, and PHP on Solaris and various free Unices.

After growing increasingly frustrated with the non-agile academic environment, he decided to head for greener pastures and pursue the dream of becoming a Rocketeer.

In his free time, you might find him honing his crafts, tearing the sky on a drop-tuned Rickenbacker four-string, and playing the occasional video or trading card game.
