Kaz Sheekey is our resident video producer. If you’ve watched a Hashrocket video or live-stream, she was the one behind the camera. Kaz comes from the Land Down Under, where beer does flow and men chunder. She has a long and varied history, having been a mild-mannered accountant turned hippie Greenpeace activist turned parachuting aerial photographer/videographer turned non-profit manager. She’s instructed teens in extra-curricular programs on producing their own video documentaries—one of which was Emmy-nominated.

Despite her unassuming roots in accounting, Kaz is pretty hard-core. She’s recognized as the number one female high-performance canopy pilot in the world (think extreme-skydiving-plus-speed-plus-accuracy, 80-mph and 5-ft above solid ground). However, Kaz balances out her intense side with a peaceful passion for yoga, fine red wine, and delicious raw food.
